Good afternoon, A2K! Very Happy
It's exactly 4:18 pm, here where I am.
Just returned from a long walk with a friend, down the length of Sydney Road. Spring is in the air, I can tell you! Very Happy

a bit drizzly here in Tranna - jsut about 10:30 a.m.
i'm listening to someone play Bach on the cello, in a washroom in Ottawa, on the radio - amazing acoustics

did some gardening clean-up first thing this morning, before 7 a.m.
the dogs are snoozing now
they're not used to 'working' so early in the day

Gotta love what the CBC forces us to experience Very Happy

It's getting chilly here. About quarter til 7 in the evening.
I did some more gardening.
The dogs and I got soaked because I forgot to look up at an important moment (when the big grey cloud moved in).

What I love is the days getting longer. Being able to walk down to the shops in the light at 6:30 again. Sitting on my back verandah with a glass of wine & admiring the garden at 7 pm .... It is so much less oppressive! Like someone took the lid off the saucepan! Laughing

Sigh, what bugs me is the days are getting shorter. It's now dusky when I leave work at 6:30.....

Good evening all.

It's around 8:30 p.m. here now.

What I find odd right now is how fast it goes from twilight to deep black sky. I went out with the dogs around 7:15 - twilight - I was admiring all the tones and shades of blue and green and gold in the sky. By the time we got back to the house around 8:00, I needed a flashlight to find Bailey's poop Confused

We know what you're up to, John Bush. You want us to tell you when we're sleeping so you can rob our houses.

Ain't gonna work, John.

We can read you like a friggin' book.

Mornin', all!
It's about 8:30 a.m.
The dogs and I have been up and aboot for a coupla hours. Looking at the garden (me), barking at squirrels (them), calling Setanta (all of us).
Now it's time for tea, breakfast and some clicking for the rainforest.
Looks like we got a touch of frost in the garden.
I may need to start wearing socks now Evil or Very Mad

ehBeth, Mrs. cav hates socks with a passion. It seems you have something in common.
