Salmonella Enteritidis

I am currently working on my bachelor level research project. Currently I have 51 salmonella samples and need to characterize them to find out if they belong to Salmonella Enteritidis and further as to what serovar they belong to gallinarum or pullorum etc.
I was thinking of using the API Rapid20E key, would that only identify the salmonella sub specie or would give the entire result?
Please let me know the most cost effective yet reliable method ASAP
