What kind of rock is this?

I found this on Kilimanjaro a few years ago.

The locals were digging a hole for a new bathroom at one of the campsites. This rock came from the hole they were digging. Any answers as to what it is would be really helpful, it's been a mystery for a few years now.

It's orange and the crystals look like bubbles, they are fairly brittle.

Roswell, have you studied geology? Are you just a well-informed rock hounds? I'm not saying this to get smart with you, but you do seem to know a lot about rocks and geology.

I haven't studied it per se, but I remember a time when I was younger (10 or 11 I think) when I was interested in rocks and I probably read a few of those geology field guides. Sometimes I remember images from the book and the words below the image.

In this particular case I doubt I have it right because no strong image came to mind, but those were the words that popped in, so I went with it Wink
