There is a remarkable resemblance! The fact that he hasn't taken off his briefs reminds me of the drapery he insisted be used to cover a statue's nude breast. I wonder if his poor wife has to do the laundrry? Ugh, ick.

If you looked at the URL of the original image--- http://www.improbable.com/projects/george/p-pop-portrait-2.jpg ---and backed up to the index page, you could see it was Ashcroft. But that's cheating... so I said Mario Vargas Llosa.
