Securing Account

I want to secure my account to the point where you have to get additional information to log in. AND when someone (besides me) tries to recover it, they won't be able to. I believe the facebook I have now was originally created under a different email address. I was given it and changed the associated name, email address, and password. However, I feel if that person was so inclined, they could simply recover the account with the original email address. I would like to stop this from happening.

Now-I have tried adding my cell phone number, but I get an error saying it has already been used to verify another facebook account. I believe I used it for my main social account (this second account is for other purposes).

I am not sure how to do the authenticator code (program?). That sounds secure. I have an iphone6 - are there apps to get?

Thank you

@jespah,
The second FB that I was given. It had someone else's email address linked to it, so I changed the info. However, if I understand correctly, they could attempt to recover it with their original email even though I changed the FB info.

If I log in via the phone number that I want to put on the 2nd FB account, it simply logs into another account (which I believe is a 3rd account). It has my number there, so I removed it. But still unable to add this number now to the 2nd account.

@ajprokos,
Back up a second.

Nobody 'gives' you an FB account.

Are you talking about being the owner of a page or a group? Are you talking about taking over someone else's account? Are you talking about hacking into someone's account? Are you talking about having a second account with a second email? Are you talking about having a business account? Are you talking about using an employer's account?

@jespah,
Final Brave Exvius has you link your account to a facebook account. It stays permanently. A friend had a second account that he didn't need (the game was linked do a dummy account). He gave me the login info and password. I went and change it to my information.

However, I have seen and heard that the original email account can recover the facebook account leaving me SOL. What safety precautions can I add to prevent me from losing my facebook account.

I can't add my phone number as it is being used elsewhere.

I took my number and it logs into a 3rd account --- which I guess I created a while ago. There is not an email address associated with it.

@ajprokos,
That is weird. So this is a game account?

FB is cracking down on accounts just like this one. They are trying to get a better handle on exactly how many users they really do have. Hence all the calls for photo IDs and the like.

If you are trying to log into FB and forget the password to this account, they are going to demand a photo ID from you if you request a password reset.

Or are you trying to log into just the game itself? Because if you are, see if you can find their Help online (it may be in the form of forums specifically for that purpose) and start asking those folks questions.

@jespah,
The company Gumi had you tie your facebook acount to your game account. It will be embedded forever. You can't override, remove, etc. On the iphone app, he rolled a new account and then linked it with a dummy facebook account which he gave to me.

I have heard instances where even if someone goes into your account changes the email address, name, and phone number, you can get it back. Thus allowing me not to be able to log into my game account.

Perhaps adding an authenticater to the account.....

@ajprokos,
Are you having trouble getting into Facebook or into the gaming account, or both? I have plenty of apps attached to FB, but they don't prevent me from logging in there.
