And I might add, Sophia Loren is still a mighty fine looking woman.

Oh yes, she is!

Speaking of fine looking women, Tina Turner is 65, Raquel Welch is 64, and Catherine Deneuve is 61. And there are plenty more gorgeous women older than me.

50 isn't old at all anymore. I'll be joining the ranks of Kim Basinger and Lorraine Bracco, both of whom turned 50 earlier this year.

A man is as old as the woman he feels

Eva- And what about the guys? Robert Redford and Paul Newman have faces like road maps, but I would not be adverse to having some "conversations" under a down comforter with them!

Phoenix...Redford and Newman are great-looking. So are Sean Connery and Clint Eastwood. You can read their lives in their faces. Fascinating. So much more there than with twentysomething pretty boys. I prefer real men who have been places and done things. Pierce Brosnan is just starting to interest me.

Funny how when you can read the life of a woman in her face she gets a face lift.

Panzade...How I wish that society respected women of age the way they respect men. Unfortunately, gray hair and wrinkles are not considered "distinguished" or "fascinating" on women. We are judged by how youthful we can manage to look.

Ugh...you're right about Nick, cav. Embarrassing, really.

Was that last photo of Keith Richards? (Another embarrassment to the male gender)

Laughing Wow, I'm also shocked at Piffka's picture of Willie Nelson! I blame the IRS for his rapid decline.

Eva- I don't know how I missed mentioning Connery & Eastwood. Both were gorgeous young men. They are now stunning older guys!

Been hitchhiking the galaxy a bit djjdd62? Smile

If I were a tree, I would be but a young and tender sapling.
If I were a head of lettuce, I would be overly decayed in the compost pile.
Chronologically, the calendar tells me I am 48. I actually think my mental aging ceased about 25. As far as outlook and attitudes anyway. I still have been able to absorb experience and thus wisdom (I hope!)
So, I feel like 25 trapped in 48. I can live with that! Smile

the first person at any board to acknowledge that clue

a journalist for a music magazine i subscribe to, described his 40th birthday as being the 25th anniversary of his 15th birthday
