Historical WW2 information needed for a screenplay?

I am writing a screenplay for my film project, which takes place on the night of the 19th April 1945, just after the 7th division advanced into Hollenstedt. I am wanting to make the film as accurate as possible so any information regarding the events of that day would help a bunch. Literally anything would be of help such as the weather conditions, how the division actually advanced, what happened after, injuries, causalities, etc. Although I have found a lot of basic information online, it's not as detailed as I would like. I have ordered some books on the subject but if anyone has any form of information it'd be appreciated.

@adamsingleton,
The local paper had had a lot of reports online (for subscribers only) http://www.ln-online.de/

The local history and tourist association ("Heimat- und Verkehrsverein") had asked eye witnesses - perhaps the results of these discussions groups have been been published http://www.hvv-estetal.de/
