I did not react to her flirting

Hello guys,
I am new to this forum and I need your help. There is a waitress who is working in a restaurant I usually eat in. She is into me for sure and today when I asked for the check she brought me the check and said you have a nice signature then then I saw that She wrote her name with a huge Thanks on it. I acted like cowards and I did not do anthing in return.
Is there any new chance for me to ask for her number or I screwed it up and she is disappointed? Have I hurt her feeling or something by mistake?
i do like her but the reason I did not write my number on the receipt is not to implied as a creep in addition I was not sure she would pick tipped check.
What should be my next move if she would be still interested?
What should be my open line or should I apologize for not underetanding her previous flirts?
Thanks

@FrancoForza,
NO! Don't ever mention the previous flirts. She will deny it on general principles, and then where will you be? Next time, be ready - unless she has given up on you.

@roger,
Or, you could do some flirting of your own....

Please accept my apology for my broken English, I am Italiano and I am new in US, I am damn good player back home in mother tongue but when it comes to English I subconsciously lose my confidence and concentration at once and I screw things up like this

@FrancoForza,
Probably no harm done. I'm not sure, but it may be time for you to initiate things, as Chai said. She's been known to be right before.
