Hi guys, i am Michael, i am currently 19 years old, there are alot of issues about life that i could not understands, so my curiosity has led me to this forum; i have this question.
Is life really that dangerous for peoples who is small, weak and say... Cannot fight or can but don't like to fight?, it is true that this world is the big fish eat small fish world?, and that rules is even more powerful than the law it self?; like when a little guy gets beat up by 4-5 guys,( they are al adult, and the law can i tervience in this situation, and the guy is not me ofcourse, i can defends my self if i could but there still alot of things bother me), and the little guy report to the police, the police saw that it is the classic individuals trying to bullied the little guy, they would let it go in regard to that rules that i been mentioned?
Sorry for the longest question ever but this worried me alot.
@Mikey1996,
The law is different around the world, so we cannot possibly give you a "one size fits all" answer.
Five people beating up a weak person? Then those people are horrible to do that. It's up to society to punish them, and that generally means an intervention by the authorities. At least in America, police aren't supposed to just let stuff like that go - and if they did, it would be a scandal and someone would lose their job over such a dereliction of duty.
I don't know where you live, but in a civilised society, nothing and nobody is more powerful than the law.
@Mikey1996,
More dangerous in other ways, Mikey. How close death whilst driving
@Mikey1996,
I got a bit of bullying when I was young and it can be terrifying.
But The law is a two edged sword though. As necessary and good as it can be, I've come to be more wary of the law than I am of bullies. Bullies can be fought or avoided. The law - not so much.
It's probably much too early for you to experience that other edge of the sword.
