Equality at all Levels
Equality for the Altruist as opposed to anarchism, cannot be about one universal mould in all things. Nor can it be a moral statement about the equality of all moral opinion. But about equality where the subject matter is of no moral consequence, or equivalent so far as is currently appreciated. The idea that all forms of marriage are morally equivalent is a little unlikely.
But equality cannot be applied to individuals only on a global basis. When politicians employ their usual populist rhetoric of egality etc. their limitations are immediately revealed in regards to societies or countries and states. Equality must apply, altruistically, at all levels. Equality implies cooperation and not unfair advantage and exploitation.
