Are all days the reason of existence, for any and all life forms in the universe?

Well. It seems we have conflicting views.

I think one day stands on its own merit, and in the big picture is no more or less important than the other.

Oh sure you may say the day your child was born has more meaning than the day you decided to sleep in late, or the day you had the flu, but does it really?

People "say" a lot of things.

I'm at my best when I realize each day, good , bad or indifferent is just as valid as another.

So any day for anyone (any species) in October of 2014 was as much life's meaning as any day that's featured a State of the Union address?
