Cooperation
It is fairly obvious that where there is no form of human cooperation there must be a state consonant with chaos and even warfare. It may be said that warfare requires cooperation within the warring sides, but there is chaos as between those sides globally.
Anything approaching social stability requires cooperative endeavour at some level, and of some kind.
The question thereafter is how that cooperation is defined or used.
If we point that question simply at human beings as individuals in the global society, then we are prejudicing the future by assuming a particular basis for that value. The individual. Inevitably such globalisation, with outright individual human rights, will eventually create one homogeneous society, racially, culturally, and in every other way. The only variety will be in fashion and that itself will be adopted by groups that are globalised.
We may also act together under authority, our 'god', so as to maintain a society based on a particular 'religion' or faith. This is not in any way an individualistic society, but one that in the final analysis is subsumed in one mind. Everyone is in service. Cooperation will have become duty and law.
The third form of cooperation is therefore not purely individualistic, and nor is it subservient and duty bound. It must be based on responsibility, and on society itself. Individuals who do not simply and directly live in the world, but in essentially local social groups, with global rights defined as between those groups, albeit for the benefit of all people. All possible local social groups standing in autonomy, but not in antagonism or rank acquisitive competition.
