You know the stereotype, it's used in all the movies and cartoons. The guy is aging out, way over-weight. Doing a comb-over while sitting at the bar after work til it's damn near too late to go home and eat something out of a can while standing over the sink. He can't stop talkkng about the "good old days" when he could fix is Chevy with a pair of pliers and some bailing wire. He's just ended is second marriage and the kids from the first one have aged out of getting child support. His Aries K-car has 226,556 miles on it but it only takes 3 quarts of Pennzoil a week to keep it running in front of the fog it makes. He can't remember the last time he got laid but it wasn't in this century and he's 3 months behind on his ELKS dues and his tab at the VFW is higher than his rent.
Anyway, I am here to tell you it just ain't the truth, some Vietnam vets came home normal.
I've owned Pioneer and Marantz but now I have an Onkyo which is really nice.
so you've moved up from Hi-Fi to Stereo? Was the Marantz quad?
wow what a coincidence! I had one of those too!
