How would i know which one is the better quality and which one is not ?

Hi everyone,

I have query for the people associated with the garment sector. I have two sample of 100% white cotton fabric for shirting in front of me , the manufacture says the respective prices of the samples.

My question is " how would i know which one is the better quality and which one is not ? "

Is there any method/Thread count/technique to distinguish. kindly drop me some video, tutorial anything which can help me out.
