Hello,
I am applying to an acting school and I need to select a classical monologue. I dont want to do something which is overdone. I came across Measure for Measure By Shakespeare. But it is considered as a problem play. Is it Ok if we choose a monologue from problem plays or is it better to avoid it?
@indianstallion,
How you deliver it is probably more important than what it is. Still, your delivery is likely to be better with something that uses a more current type of English than Shakespeare.
