Today is national grilled cheese day. (Did they really need this?)
My favorite, over the plain cheese on bread, is grilled baloney and cheese (you need to grill the baloney first). I don't care if you like the idea.
Do you have a favorite special grilled cheese sammich?
Jarlsberg (Grated) on buttered french bread, squirt of tomato-puree (spread), grated shallot (Sping onion will do) - Toast under grill to brown, add a few basil leaves and enjoy.
Best eaten with a glass of red wine (your spec) (Go fruity).
