I have plans in the works for a chicken coop and all purpose building, both within 100 ft of my house, where there's a 100 amp entrance and 50 amp sub panel. The coop will just have a single light and the all-purpose building will have as many as 5-6 lights and probably one box fan.

With time and finances limited, I'm building the coop first but am unsure as to how I should go about wiring it because I'd rather not dig two trenches and poke two holes in the basement. Please advise as to what kind of wiring layout might be the easiest-and what the wire should be to/from both locations. Thank you.
