Need help starting Architecture essay.

I am not an expert on this topic, but I am interested in Urban Stdies and architecture.
What would I recommend you, is to pay your attention to some buildings in China. In particular to The Bund, Shanghai

The site’s name derives from a Persian word meaning “embankment,” and the Bund has long represented both Shanghai’s long history and progress into the future.
