What do you think? did dad overdo it with the kid there EVERY day?

Does't say if the kid is special needs.

@PUNKEY,
This is the most useful article on the matter that I've seen so far - it gets into how it can be a poor idea for the boy too:

Yes, this part particularly:

Certain aspects of the male-dominated, jock-centric culture will take a generation to change, if it’s possible to change it at all. For all the positives that Drake LaRoche undoubtedly reaped from the time he’s spent with his father, there are also negative implications.

It’s no secret that misogyny, homophobia and belief systems right out of the early 1900s are still present in sports.

Plus, there are kiddy-diddlers around in the sports world.

@PUNKEY,
Before even reading the article I thought...shouldn't the kid go to school? Wouldn't it be better for his son to spend time with other children?

It's great to be such a loving dad you want your child around you. Not enough dad's give their kids the time of day. However,this is extreme.. even leaving out the inappropriateness of young boys hanging around young cocky men that are talking well like young cocky men.

If the dad loves his son so much wouldn't he want what is best for him? Like being in an atmosphere with age appropriate activities and the ability to learn to interact with his pers. Wouldn't the kid enjoy playing with boys his age and wouldn't that be better for his overall development.

I won't even get into the potential distractions for the dad at work and the other players at work.
