Yesterday I changed my background photo on my Facebook page and a day later got a message from my daughter commenting on the use of it. She never uses messenger to talk to me yet she was able to know right away about the photo change. How? The avatar photo on messenger is different than the background image. Also she appears to have never visited my fb page. Thanks 4 the help.

This is a really standard Facebook notification. Don't like it? Pull on the gear wheel in the upper right corner, select privacy settings, and adjust them accordingly.
