I'm trying to find someone who I can interview about the Cold War for a history project. If you are born before 1945, I would really appreciate it if you could answer the following questions (preferably in detail):

1. How old were you when you became aware of the Cold War?

2. Where did you live during this time?

3. When the Cold War began, how did your life change compared to WWII?

4. How prevalent was the Cold War in your everyday life? Were you ever fearful of Soviets?

5. What were you taught in school about the USSR during this time? Communists?

6. How did your standard of living change at the time due to the Cold War (ex. food, finances)?

7. What do you remember most vividly about the Cold War?

8. What do you remember that showed the rivalry between the United States and USSR during this time?

9. What did you think of democracy and the United States during this time?

10. What do you remember about Atomic Weapons during this time?

11. During this time, what did you fear the most about the Cold War?

12. Any interesting stories? Experiences (ex. military)?

Thanks for reading this!! You will help me so much!

@ltan333,
You're asking too many questions. Reduce it, and I might be interested in answering.
