when digging in our land we found Nerinea fossil rocks and we are checking where to find someone who has interest about it

itd be interesting for a student doing a mapping of the geology. Certain nerinea species are accurate index fossils of the Jurrasic and Cretaceous

Are they imbedded in bedrock limestone exposed at the surface?
