Bromance or Romance?

A straight boy I worked with for a couple of months more than 10 years ago has started text messaging me tirelessly every day. At first, I thought he needed some hints because I've been living abroad and he seems to be interested in doing the same. But he keeps saying he wishes we lived closer so that we could go to the movies together and how he misses talking to me face to face, although this has never ever happened, he highlights the amount of messages we exchange, and so forth. He knows I've been in a relationship for more than 15 years, and even joked with the suggestion I should get divorced and marry him because he needs to get the EU passport and my husband doesn't because he was born here.
