Thank you - I had AMPLEST but it did not fit with REVOLT (REBEL) on the way down but when I checked there is also a case for REPEL which I did not see. ARTIFICE I have never heard of - put the letters I knew into two U-Beaut word finders and came up with zero - today I put ARTIFICE into both and guess what - up it came - appears both of these programs have a bug and are not reliable - thank you once again - reckon there is another word I need but will spend more research on it before asking for help.

Dazzler, can you help me with 71 across and 69 down. I have startle for 69 down and ascending or ascension for 71 across. (she for 69 across - feminine pronoun). Can't get it to work...
