Hello, if anyone uses studio one 2 could you possibly help me? My sound on my computer keeps spiking up to an unbearable sound and yet I have my sound on the lowest setting because I have sensitive ears. Anyways, I'm doing a project in class but for some reason this keeps happening and it's 1.)giving me a really bad headache and 2.)annoying the crap outta me.. I don't know what to do because it's only happening in studio one. :/
@StormyGalaxy,
What is happening I think is the settings for volume have too much dynamic range. If you could put sound limiter on or compress a bit on the curves...or some adjusting ..of the mic gain, you'd be fine.

Seeing that this phenomenon is only happening there, if it were me, what I'd do is go to the application's web page and look for Help from Tech Support or ask the developers.
Or type some keywords asking for help (similar to what you did here) in Google, you might get an answer.
"help with audio (or microphone) volume in studio one 2"
Seeing that you are using a studio sound mixing tool, you should already be fairly familiar with mics, mic gain controls and dynamic audio ranges.
@StormyGalaxy,
I'd say you should calibrate your mic settings..or re-define the s/w driver in the app software as to what mic you're using. That could fix the problem. The profile is probably set wrong.
