I think it's time the truth were discussed honestly here. Barsoom, the name the Martians had for their home world, is not what NASA and the IAU would have you believe. As we all know, or should know, and Captain John Carter of Virginia discovered, Martian civilization was dying as the planet's climate dried, as the canals dried up, as the cities fell into the dust and sand. What NASA don't want you to know is that the rovers are there trying to find those cities so that the advanced science of the Martians can be dug up from their libraries, and used to achieve American global dominance here on earth! They don't want you to know, they want complacent sheep!

Barsoom . . . fantasy or fiction? You decide ! ! !

Pavonis Mons (Peacock Mountain) is one of the Martian Giganto-volcanoes. The southern rim of its caldera sits right on the equator. This won the Grammy (2003?) for best instrumental.
