Hey mates, I have a question regarding the law of investing in equity. Can someone explain me, why you have to be a sophisticated(wholesale) investor to invest into equity shares of a sme through e.g. crowdfunding? Btw. what is a retail investor and which laws to restrict investments via crowdfunding for the investor and the company?
