Cataract Surgery

I had cataract surgery some years ago in both eyes here in Colombia. I chose to get the bifocal lenses (they get them from Germany here) so that I could see both distant and close without glasses. The surgery was paid for by my insurance but I had to pay for the lenses. They cost me about $350 each in US dollars. I wonder what the same surgery runs in the US.
