how make my shoprider mobility scooter go further

hi just wonder if some one can help me . i live in a small town in wa and i need to be able to get to the next town which is 50k away so unless charge when i get there i wouldnt able to get home . i wonder if it possible to add 2 more batteries so i could get around 100 k out of the batteries . even looked at buy new scooter but the most i can get is a range of 60 k which is some not always true by the sales person.
