I am trying to mix a powdered colour into bubble bath, but it keeps separating if left for a while. Is there a chemical or product that will keep the coloured powder suspended?? without separating? i was told a cross polymer might work? Any ideas?

@Chez,
look up some emulsifying agents. Then see what your bath mix and colored powders are made of and choose the right emulsifier. Usually they are "surfactants" (pecialized detergents)

@farmerman,
Thankyou for the quick reply! Smile the chemical is alkaline earth metal aluminate oxide europium doped (glow in the dark powder) however, I really have no idea about choosing the right emulsifier/surfacants . Are they products that are easily available??

@Chez,
were there any instructuions? Id say that youd want a higher pH surfqctant because of the (ca/Mg are moderately strong alkalis). Try some stuff like an ABS , but not aPhosphate
