Hello!
I got a moral question and would appriciate any kind of answer or opinions. Smile

My two friends are arguing about a speeding ticket. Here's the story: Friend 1 missed the last bus home and calls Friend 2 to ask him to come pick him up. Friend 2 come picks him up, but on the way he gets a speeding ticket. Should Friend 1 feel responsible to pay/partly pay the speeding ticket?

Info: They live together (in a collective). Friend 2 was driving 94km/h on a 80km/h way. It was ~2 am in the night. The ticket was 260 euro. I don't know if any other information is necessery.

Thanks Smile

@AnonymaArvid,
No. Not at all. The driver was not forced to drive too fast. It was the driver's choice to break the law.

@Ragman,
I agree with Ragman. To me, it isn't even a question.

@AnonymaArvid,
The one who got the speeding ticket for speeding should pay for his own ticket. I would be very appreciative that he came and picked me up. I would even offer him gas money for picking me up. But, nobody forced him to be speeding. I would be offended that he had the audacity to think I should pay for his speeding ticket that he got for speeding. That is outrageous.
