how to be myself at school

I'm working on being myself at school right now. But I just can't shake up the feeling that nobody wants to be friends with me and they just hate it when I talk the them and think of me as a person who is trying too hard to make friends. I just read millions of articles and videos about how to be myself at school but none of them really came to me...Any advice?
