@James34,
Thank you James34, your answers are just what l needed. l too have received my big and concentrated on that yesterday and got quite a bit done on it. ln my garden l still have a lot of greenery, some of them are green all year round, but l have a deep red rose that is still blooming for me, but my albertine has decided that that is it for this year, and my fushia is still flowering, this plant has tended to flower right up until Christmas despite my hubby thinning it out a lot, Still able to have the window beside me open a little bit, hubby has constructed a sort of car port from one side of the patio up to the galley kitchen. We do not have a large garden but we certainly cram a lot in without the place looking overcrowded, the house and garden are exactly 118 years old, built for the artisans at the Guest iron works which was on the land just a little bit down the road from us, they want to build on it but it is still contaminated land, they close the works in the late 60s, so it will still be contaminated land for quite a while yet, they test it every year.
