One is a perpetual miscreant psychopathic youth and the other, a cranky, stubborn sociopathic old fart. Both are racist, sexist, whingy creeps.

Both are worshipped for their uninhibited biting wit and humor.

Lord have mercy on those fools who cross their paths and irritate them.

For now, I'm not going to consider adding Dr. Gregory House or Sheldon Cooper for now. They have some endearing qualities and they're not racist (but they do have traits of sexism).

Larry David is my personal favorite.

Larry David was a jerk even an unlikable one. But can he be considered monstrously jerkish? Can't remember him being an overt racist. Just a bumbling fool who by accident may appear to be racist to others by being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
