53d- Authentic sounding highland dance (4). My question is if the answer is REAL (Authentic) or REEL (highland dance). When answering homophone clues is the answer taken from the capitilised clue (Authentic) or the clue itself (highland dance)? Thanks in advance.

The answer is REEL because that
sounds like 'real' and the keyword as far as the clue is concerned is 'dance' .
