Aquafine Aqua 2

Hello

Hope you can help...the home I am in came with an AQUAFINE Aqua 2 water softener. I know absolutely nothing about it and there is user manual. A couple of days ago it started leaking water now I have keep getting rid of the pool of water in the furnace room.

In the second tank, there is salt...should there be water as well? What can I do about the leaking water from the other tank?

Any assistance with be greatly appreciated
