In about fifteen minutes, I will be officially on vacation for a whole week from this hell hole! SWEEEEEEEET!!!!
I haven't made any plans, except for this weekend. I'm thinking there might be a lot of laying out in the sun at the beach or the park, but other than that, I'm open to suggestions. What do you think I should do with my free week?
You could go photograph subway entrances and such like, an' then try to peddle 'em at the Iranian embassy . . .
Yeah, and then when I get picked up by the G-men, I'll be famous! Thanks, good one! I think I'll save that for the end of the week so I don't have to spend too much of my vacation in custody.
Okay, that's it. I'm on vacation as of right...now! wooohoooo! I'm outta this dump for a whole week!
Yay for your holiday, KC. You could come with me on my travels through Europe, not because of love, nor because I want to plant some tracking device on you, but out of my benevolence, I guess!
I wish. Thanks for the invite. Not enough disposable cash though.
Enjoy your vacation and remember....a week at work passes by sooo very very slowly and a week on vacation passes almost in a blink of any eye.
Kicky, I spent my last vacation making paper plate frogs. It was an exciting time. I made several hundred of them and have them all over my house. I know you like frogs, kicky, so why don't you try this wonderful vacation idea?
It's a bit challenging at first, but after time the plates seemingly turn into frogs before your very eyes.
If you would like me to fly to New York City and spend some quality time with you making paper plate frogs, well, I guess I could do that.
Let me know.
Paper plate frogs -- fantastic way to spend a vacation!
I like spending at least one of my vacation days each year pretending to be a tourist here. It reminds me why I moved back here. I usually do it with a friend who's from my hometown - we pick a different part of the city to wander around in each time.
Spend at least a few hours walking by yourself and thinking about what you like... y'know just be alone and listen to y'self. You're observant and inventive, but what is it you wanna do? Not to put you on the spot..
Me, I know what I want to do, turns out to be a number of things, and my problem is zeroing in on one and just doing it. But ne'er mind me, that is just an illustration.
Don't bury your week in other people, that's all I'm saying.
