Hi,
Would it be appropriate to use held up in the below situation ?
Person A : Could you please come over to my place and help me with solving a very complex problem that I am unable to solve on my own ?
Person B : Oh , sorry! I would love to help but I am pretty held up with my own work here.
Person B is apparently busy with his own work and cannot afford time to help Person A.

It would sound much more natural to say "I am pretty tied up", or "pretty wrapped up".
Your suggestion has exactly as much logic as mine, but just sounds a little odd.
