Recently I have done the big 5 personality model questions and I found out that my friends and family both rate me high in openness to experience while my own rating for that is very low. Can anyone explain to me with any psychology theories ?

You answered the questions and that determined how your family and friends view this? I'm glad you think they rated you highly.
@roger,
I mean I gave questionnaires to my friends and family to rate as well as myself.
