What's a good false name to use when checking into a hotel?

I have decided that henceforth I would prefer to maintain my anonymity, to the extent that's feasible, when I'm gallivanting about the globe and staying over night at hotels and such.

I'd welcome suggestions as to which names might suit me, and any names that you would dare to try on for size.

Feel free to recommend names that friends here should contemplate using.
