I had an '84 Land Cruiser, really liked it at 25 mpg; so later bought one for Mom, an '87 which out of the sheerest technical incompetence on Chevy's part, gave us only 16 mpg

Between that and the ignition-key debacle, Chevy never should have been bailed out
