How to overstrike, crosscut, overstrike revisited

I know how it's done here in a2k

But how is it done for instance in email

I realize it can be fetched from Word but doing so requires dozens of keystrokes, jumping back and forth between it and email, a real nuisance

So, help someone. Thanks kindly for your patience in dealing with an old man

@dalehileman,
Try using the quote function, then carefully replace the word 'quote' with the word 'strikeout'. Depending on your email service, it might work.

Thanks Rog but I was looking for a strikeout in email not a2k
