Hello, first post but need some help.
My light sensor is failing and running my lamps light on continuously 24/7 without turning off during the day. I finally decided to go in my local home improvement store and bought a new light sensor. I thought this job would be an easy line up old wires to the new but it got drastically more complicated.
Here is the old sensor with 2 black wires (I cannot seem to notice which is + or - not even from the wire small print.

Here is the new one with clearly color labeled ground, white and red wires. Thus my dilema begins....

Here is the wires presented

Without the caps

Here are the instructions...

Had my new Light Sensor(LS) had just two wires this would have been easy but I now need to know what my wires are. Here are the old wires labeled.

Here is the wires again uncapped... Without them being labeled it was hard for me to decide where my new LS wires will go. Can anyone help me? Do I combined Light Source with Light Sensor to the home power source wires? Anyone tell me where the red,white, and black goes to for power in the home?

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am such a noob at electrical it isn't even funny.

@psilon2020,
Psi, the sensors for such outside devices are mostly all different so there's only a minimal chance you can use this one

@dalehileman,
Thanks, its just interesting to me that all my local home improvement stores sell roughly the same design with 3 wires. The two wire LS must be the old generation of photocells... Is it still possible to connect them? If I knew what these 5 wires from the Power Source were all about I could possibly do this myself. (Keep in mind there are also 2 outlets located on the bottom of the brick post; is it possible those two outlets power is snaked to the top for the light source as well?)
Here are some more pictures.
