"Knaidel" is correct in accordance with Webster's Third New International Dictionary.
However, there was controversy whether that was indeed the definitive spelling of the term, with others preferring "knaydel", "kneydel", "knadel", or "kneidel"
I'm too boreal for that because aioli doesn't fit the definition of blackberry drupes which is etaerio.
Once thank you timur for your help. l looked into several sites but could not come up with an answeOncer starting with a K, l am sure that the compilers of this crossword will accept either spelling. l thought l knew the dupes one but could not think of name, l do have it in my word book but that is under a lot of stuff that is being moved around in my dining room, living in a builders yard at the moment, hubby DIYing. Once again THANK YOU.
