My band breaks up, squinney and the cubs have left for the midwest for an undetermined length of time, my oldest cub has gone to stay with his mom, and I have 45.00. Not enough for a hooker, a night on the town, or a bag of dope. Evil or Very Mad Crying or Very sad

Poor you, Bear. A poor comfort, perchance, but you have all of us...

Why have Squinney and your younger children gone to the Midwest indefinitely?!

BPB,

You have the makings of an R 'n B or Country Western hit there. Put the words on paper add some music and copyright, you could be an overnight sensation.

Sending Zen hugs though, I know I'de really bum if Billie needed to elsewhere for very long.

I was thinking that if I could get bus fare together, it might be a good time to take the tour of Gus' meth lab.......

You are going through some bad times BPB. Have you considered getting drunk out of your mind? It would help for a while anyway.

Seriously, I know what that lonely feeling feels like. I got a big lump in my throat, felt sick to my stomach and all alone in the world. I'm sure Slappy and gus will come up with some stuff that will cheer you up.

Good thoughts go out to squinney, your kids and her dad.

Squinney is dealing with her fathers' illness. And the cubs. Bear probably realizes that his being there will bring more conflict than comfort. I was thankful that my husband wasn't with me when my parents were ill and I had to travel. All of my focus was on them and not torn between them and my natural old-school mindset of taking care of my husband.
Hang in there, Bear.

BPB

Are you much at writing letters, is your wife? You two could have some treasured correspondence out of this. It cheaper than travel and the letters would be interesting to read sometime in the future.
I have read my Dad's letters from WWII. Some of them to and from girl friends were scorchers. The ones to and from family gave me a picture of my grandparents, aunts and Dad I never would have had without them.
