I have a really hard time coming up with thesis statements. This is what I came up with as a thesis:
In both Fire and Ice(Robert Frost), and A Rose for Emily(William Faulkner), contain symbolism that represent desire, among other strong emotions.
This was the response I got:
I think it's good that your thesis is a bit narrower than what you had before but I think it still needs some refinement.
