Sorry for my fippant response, BPB ..... is this going to make you late for work?
A. had borrowed my bike yesterday but had forgotten to give me back the key to the lock. Not realising that, I arrived at my work, on my bike - and found I couldnt lock it.
So I went back home to get the reserve key. But on my second attempt to go to work, one of the bolts spontaneously unscrewed and flew off when I took a sidewalk too enthusiastically. Back wheel got stuck, had to take it to the repairman first.
Face it, Bear - its just one of those days.
Sure is.
But - that stinks, Bear!
Have been declared Wisconsin nonresident, which makes me wonder where I live.
Also out of coffee.
new tire, coffee taken care of. arrived at important appointment 15 minutes late freaking out, only to be told to come back in 3 hours. Hemorrhoid curse on that bureaucratic slut. Double grrrrr..........the fact that others are suffering today gives me no comfort, I wish we were all having a good day. Perhaps tomorrow. Meanwhile, who would like a shot of tequila for their coffee?

Great day for me:
* Older Son graduates from high school this evening.
* Daughter back safely from Prague.
* Have not yet killed or even seriously wounded Younger Son.
* Lovely Bride seems to have forgiven me for leaving compostable materials in a plasic bag under the sink and forgetting about them last week.
Good news from Stoneham then!!!!!!!!
My youngest cub has not been on the receiving end of a bear swap yet....but it's early. :wink:

well...came back from going to appointment the second time....and meeting turned out our way....so happy ending there..
Victory over the bureaucracy? I'll drink to that.
Grrr at the Royal Bank computer screw-up, but happy because a. it gave me an excuse to dodge my creditors, and b. I think I've nailed a huge catering job for next month.

Hi everyone! Grrrrrr.....my cable modem crapped out, and I spent the last erm, half hour at least trying to get it fixed and the final answer from the supposed techie on the phone was "I have to pass this problem on to my superiors. Call us back if it's not working by Monday." ARRRRGH! Service will be intermitent at best, apparently.
Grrrrr - I hafta spend a goodly portion of the weekend at work....
You guys are sure whiny!!! Who's the candy ass who started this.........oh.......never mind

If I'da seen this thread last night, you all would have gotten an eyeful of Swimpy venum. Yesterday was a horrible, terrible, no-good, very bad day. But that's all in the past. The sun is shining. There's not a cloud in the sky and I'm going to get pampered today.
I hope your today is better than your yesterday.
