Can anyone with a copy of an Italian text of il Principe confirm the following translation of "One must therefore be a fox to recognize snares, and a lion to frighten wolves" ? Is the following translation correct? "Bisogna adunque essere golpe a conoscere e lacci e lione a sbigottire e lupi"

@lcfr7,
You seem a bit confused about what a translation is. This is the Italian original text: "Bisogna adunque essere golpe a conoscere e' lacci, e lione a sbigottire e' lupi". This an acceptable English translation: ""One must therefore be a fox to recognize snares, and a lion to frighten wolves".
