What do you do when a 75-year-old man owes you $86,000?

If you’re with the sheriff’s department in Marathon County, Wisconsin, you send in a SWAT team.

@edgarblythe,
I guess they gotta find some way to get some use out of their shiny, new armored personnel carrier - even if it was funded by Homeland Security.

@roger,
Yep. The 1033 Program has a "use it (within a year) or lose it" clause. They gotta make up some excuse to get it out of the garage. I guess they figured it wouldn't get damaged by a 75-y.o. gramps who has never shown any signs of violent tendencies. Safe call.*

*For the military equipment, I mean. Not so much for the old guy.
