What Cushion Material is Better in Gift Box?

When gifting necklace, ring, collector's item etc. in customized wooden box, what cushion material should be on the bottom? Silk, satin or velvet? Which is more aesthetically pleasing and also good quality? I know there's foam material but I think it doesn't convey value.
